Louis Comfort Tiffany, a well-known American artist first created Tiffany hanging lamps. Most designs generally incorporate stained glass as a decorative feature. The creator wanted to ensure that the colors and details of the models were well-maintained though the production process so he used the copper-foil technique resulting to unique and beautiful lamp shades with intricate bronze bases. Some of the popular designs available include the wisteria and dragonfly mosaics.
